Derrick's Father's Day

On Father's Day, Derrick got to sleep in and take a nap (just like I did on Mother's Day). The kids helped me set up all of Daddy's presents before we woke him up.
Both kids wanted to be in a picture with the presents-
but not together like Mommy wanted!
Derrick received car wash and interior car wipes, a new
polo shirt, and many hand-made crafts from the kids.Crafts: Dayton made the #1 Fan flag at school;
each kid made Derrick a bracelet, and Daphne made a necklace, too;
both kids made a little flip book for Daddy- they loved making these
Showing Daddy their flipbooks
We made these a few weeks before Father's Day, so the kids
hid them so Daddy wouldn't see them until Father's Day
Derrick ate chocolate chip pancakes for his first time;
Dayton and Daphne LOVED the pancakes with chocolate.
Derrick is an awesome Dad- he wore one of his new bracelets to Church! We love this guy, and we're always excited when he comes home from school. We're so thankful for the time that we get to spend with him. He can always make the kids laugh. Daphne loves sharing pickles with Daddy, and Dayton loves playing pirates with Daddy.
