We had Thanksgiving dinner at Jenny and Trevor's house with my immediate family. Trevor did TONS of cooking, and everything tasted wonderful.

Chef Laura baked pies for dessert (this one is pecan)
Hungry Derrick and Dayton - ha ha
Everyone except Laura, because she took the picture
After dinner, we went to Trevor's parents' house for some family pictures.

After Thanksgiving, my mom celebrated her 50th birthday with a big party for family and friends at her house (during which I did not get a chance to pull out my camera). She is not at all shy about turning 50- she's embracing it and moving forward! Love you Mom! You're the best!
The highlight of my trip so far has been the surprise visit by the Jefferies family from Provo. They drove out here to surprise my mom for her party- we were all thrilled to see them!
The Jefferies as we know and love them
Dayton being pulled around the house by Jacob
And now, Derrick is back in Chicago studying away for tests and tests and tests in these next few weeks, while the kids and I are staying in Chehalis with my parents until Derrick flies back here to join us for his Christmas break! It's fun being home for a while!

Wow, fun that you are staying! It's nice to have a longer time at home, although hard to be apart from hubby. Have a nice stay!
Love you guys! I can't wait to get back out to all that fun!
Love the family pics on the staircase... especially the one of you and your sisters faces pushed through the bars! Miss you here, but looks like you're having fun!
