The Jefferies Family

We love visiting Provo because of many dear friends that we have there. Our beloved Jefferies family is just two blocks away, and we saw them nearly every day. Together we took our dogs to the park, ate several dinners, had a bbq up in the canyon, and played at their house. My mom and I also went to see Eat, Pray, Love with Laura.

Dayton begged to play at their house every day. One of the kids' favorite things to do at the Jefferies' house was running to the garden along the side of the house to pick fresh cherry tomatoes. The tomatoes never made it inside the house- the kids gobbled them up.

They have 2 parakeets that my kids loved to pet and admire

The Jefferies loaned us a stack of children's books to read in Provo; my kids quickly chose a few favorites, and we read those SAME books every day. Dayton liked Growing Vegetable Soup, Seargeant Murphy's Traffic Book, and David Gets In Trouble. Daphne's favorite was Brown Bear, Brown Bear.
