Inside Dayton's bag
Eating Pocky sticks for their first timeThese sticks have been a hit; the kids
ask for chocolate sticks every day now

Skibicki's House
We spent most of Easter Sunday at my aunt's house. Dayton and Daphne love playing with Mia and Erica... and all of their toys. We love spending time with these wonderful relatives.
Mia arranged an egg hunt for Dayton and Daphne

Another Egg Hunt
My kids were lucky enough to get THREE egg hunts this year. This one was at a park with lots of friends from Church.
A Dad played Duck, Duck, Goose with the kids
while Moms hid the eggs around the park
while Moms hid the eggs around the park
The toddlers raced to find eggsafter all the big kids had sprinted ahead
(although I'm not sure why Dayton was being slow)
Daphne was great at finding the obvious eggs
Dayton collected all of his eggs without my help
The kids enjoyed the fruits of their labors
Dayton found bubbles in one of his eggs
We also spent one evening teaching the kids the Easter story about Christ's death and resurrection. Daphne didn't listen well, but Dayton seemed to understand it. He kept asking interesting questions like, "Will the bad people kill me on the cross, too?" After I explained that we will all be resurrected like Jesus he said, "Then I can be an angel like Jesus!" Dayton was able to re-tell the story to me using our pictures.

The little packages in their bags look like fruit snacks. It looks like you had beautiful weather for the outside egg hunt. That was so nice of Mia to set up an egg hunt for the kids.
Wow, we need to get Dayton into a running class or something.
Those are fun bags! I'm guessing Disney rewards, hmmm?
