As Addy is getting a little older, Daphne is beginning to enjoy her more. They play together a little bit, but Daphne seems to like taking care of Addy.

Last weekend when everyone came to my mom's house for Easter, the adults were busy trying to accomplish things, so we told Daphne to take Addy to her bedroom to play. We specifically told Daphne to watch Addy and take care of her. Trevor went to the basement a while later to check on Addy, and she was alone by the back door munching on a dog biscuit! I found Daphne (still playing in her room) and asked her why she wasn't watching Addy. Daphne told me Addy wanted to go upstairs, so she stopped babysitting her. Not as responsible as we thought! Trevor pointed out that our first mistake was asking a 4-year-old to babysit a 1-year-old.

(Daphne's dishes are anything that she is allowed to get wet-
bucket, water bottles, empty containers, chopsticks, etc)
Addy likes being a big kid and mimicking whatever Daphne does. So when we're eating dinner, and Daphne stands on the bench to dance and play, so does Addy! I have pointed out to Daphne many times that Addy will copy whatever Daphne does, so it is extra important to be a good example!
