Dayton, Grandpa, Daphne, and Earl
My parents have a basement under 2/3 of their house, and they are currently digging out 3 more rooms to make a complete basement, and then they would like to finish/remodel the rest of the basement. The INTENTION is to make a full apartment down there for me and the kiddos while we're in WA for the next several months... BUT the dig-out has already taken a few more months than anticipated. We have seen very slow progress, and we are all doubtful that the basement will be done in time for my family to actually stay down there. But everyday the diggers slowly fill Earl and my Dad drives it down to the backyard to dump all the extra dirt. This evening, Grandpa brought me and the kids down to watch him dump!

The kids also REALLY loved yanking on the horn chain. I'm certain the neighbors didn't appreciate this loud interruption in their evening.
