In the last few days, Daphne has acquired a new talent.. When she's due for a nap, I lay her down on our bed and put her blanket over her, making sure part of it caresses her face. She's usually awake and bright-eyed, and she even watches me leave the room and close the door. I check back minutes later and she's out! I'm so proud! Dayton never possessed this skill; I always had to carry him for about 20 minutes to urge him to sleep. I'm now in heaven.
And by the way, if I accomplish NOTHING while I'm at home all day, at least my bed is made!
