Rain Forest Cafe

Nana flew into town today. She is here for one night, and tomorrow she's flying Dayton and Daphne back to Washington with her. Derrick and I will embark on the 3-day drive to Washington this weekend.

In anticipation for Nana's one-day visit, my kids have planned to eat at the Rain Forest Cafe. They begged Nana for it, and of course she couldn't say no to her grandkids!

We were first seated near a family of animated gorillas, but that was too much for the kids. We moved to another wall that had non-moving animals. We were still able to enjoy the show whenever the thunder and lightning brought the animals to life, but the kids were glad to view it from a distance. The kids were excited to see a clown making balloon figures for children!
Daphne asked for a flowerShe sang and danced with her flower
Dayton asked for a dinosaur
(I guess it's a long-neck dinosaur)
Dayton and Nana
We ordered a Volcano for dessert;
Dayton and Daphne tried to blow out the sparkler
Dayton enjoying the dessert
We're thankful that grandparents can afford taking our family out to eat, because we sure can't.

I am sure mommy coaxed Dayton & Daphne into asking Nana to take them to the Rain Forest Cafe! It was a lot of fun.
