Redemption for Dayton

Remember when Dayton gave a very silly 'testimony' many months ago? Well since then, he has redeemed himself time and time again with his presentation skills, and his great knowledge of the gospel.

He knows that bad people were mean to Jesus, and that Jesus died. Dayton can tell you all about Christ's resurrection and when he calmed the storm on the boat. He knows about Jesus' miracles and His love and kindness toward others. Dayton knows that missionaries teach people about Jesus.

He has given a prayer, scripture, and Article of Faith in the Primary microphone.

When we were choosing his scripture, he told us he wanted the scripture to be about Jesus. So Derrick chose Matthew 19:14, "But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven." At the end of the scripture Dayton said, "Jesus loves children."

Today he learned the 2nd Article of Faith for Primary: "We believe that men will be punished for their own sins, and not for Adam's transgression." But Dayton substituted words that he knows for words that he doesn't know- he said 'sentence' instead of sin, and he said 'projects' instead of transgression.
